PROGRAM CATEGORY

  • Primary / Pre-Teens Category
  • Date: 11 & 12 September 2021 (Saturday & Sunday) 
  • Time: 10AM to 4PM (GMT+8 Malaysia)
  • Platform: Online (Program Link will be sent to you) 
  • Age: 9 to 12 Years Old

  • Secondary / Teens & Adults Category
  • Date: 18 & 19 September 2021 (Saturday & Sunday)  
  • Time: 10AM to 4PM (GMT+8 Malaysia)
  • Platform: Online (Program Link will be sent to you) 
  • Age: 13 Years Old & Above

 

PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Each Registration is considered as 1 participant entry.
  • Student’s can register independently or via a Teacher-In-Charge from their school. 
  • By joining the “New Age Learner Virtual Conference” Program, all participants agree to the terms & conditions and have obtained their parents consent/permission to join this program and competition.
  • Participants below the age of 12 may require their parent/guardian assistance throughout the duration of the program.
  • New Age Learner Virtual Conference Program includes 2 Days Online Program + Entrance to Mystery Competition (Mystery Competition details will be announced at the end of the 2-Day program).
  • Please ensure all information in the registration form is accurate and up to date. Organizers shall not be responsible for any mistakes upon registration or whatsoever. 
  • Organizers will contact the participants using the contact information provided. The organizers shall not be responsible for any lack of response from the participant. As such, it is advised to check your email and contact number for program info, program virtual booklet, program link, competition details and anything else related to the program. We encourage participants to reply and acknowledge receiving the program emails/texts received from organizers.  
  • Participants are required to join the Official Student Telegram Group for the program. Link to the telegram group is attached at the end of the registration form. Organisers will not be adding students into the Official Student Telegram Group and therefore will not be responsible for students who do not join the group via link on their own initiative. 
  • Participants are required to remain in the Official Student Telegram Group for NALVC until December 2021.
  • All participants will receive an e-certificate of attendance upon attending the two day online program. They will receive an e-certificate of participation upon attending the two day online program and participating in the mystery competition. E-certificate will be distributed to the students via e-mail or via Teacher-In-Charge (when relevant).
  • Organisers do not guarantee that students participating/attending this program will receive Co-Curricular (PAJSK) Marks. PAJSK Marks are based on the Ministry of Education Malaysia’s decision after completion of the program and are based on the student’s participation throughout the program. As such, all students are required to attend the full duration of the program (2 days) and participate in the mystery competition to be considered for Co-Curricular Marks by KPM. Malaysian Participants could receive Co-Curricular Marks, a minimum one month after program date, subject to Malaysian Ministry of Education approval. 
  • The organizers have the rights to the program content, materials, recordings, etc. The participants understand this and grant the organizers the right to use the recording of the program with the participant’s involvement for promotional/marketing use as deemed fit by the organizers.
  • This program is a live online program. Participants are recommended to attend the session live. The recording will be available at the same link for 48 hours after which it will be taken down. This is to facilitate the students from around the world to watch it as per their time zone. 
  • Participants are not allowed to share the program materials, program links, competition details, etc with anyone else. Participants are not allowed to record any parts of the program or the program as a whole. Participants are not allowed to share program content with others. All rights of the program belong to Ascendance Sdn Bhd. 
  • Participants agree that they own the rights to their submissions (videos, pictures, comments) and that their submissions (videos, pictures, comments) are the original work of the participant. Participants grant us (Organizer/Ascendance Sdn Bhd) rights to use your submission for our promotional/marketing use as deemed fit by us including but not limited to on live publishing, post, videos, etc. Participants will not claim any proceeds from the submissions.
  • Participants can be removed from the program if they do not adhere to any terms & conditions.
  • This program is made possible thanks to Ascendance’s Corporate Partners & Individual Sponsors. This program is free for students to attend. However, seats are limited and registration will be closed once the free seats are filled. 
  • The Organizer reserves the right to amend/add any terms and conditions, change/cancel the dates of the event, structure of the program/ competition or the prizes without prior notice.

 

MYSTERY COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  • Participants own the rights to their submissions (videos, pictures, comments) and that their submissions (videos, pictures, comments) are the original work of the participant. Participants grant us (Organizer/Ascendance Sdn Bhd) rights to use your submission for our promotional/marketing use as deemed fit by us including but not limited to on live publishing, post, videos, etc. Participants will not claim any proceeds from the submissions.
  • Participants entry does not contain any profanity, obscene comments, sexually explicit material, political content, racism or hate.
  • Each participant is allowed to only submit one video entry for the competition. 
  • Participants will submit your videos based on your program category. Organizers will not be responsible for any mistakes in competition submission.
  • Mystery Competition Judging and Selection of Winners are final.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to change/substitute the prizes for those of equivalent value.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to amend any terms and conditions, change the dates of the event, structure of the program/competition or the prizes without prior notice.
  • The Organizers have the rights to the program content, materials, recordings, etc. The participants understand this and grant the organizers the right to use the recording of the program (with participant involvement, etc) for promotional/marketing use as deemed fit by the organizers.
  • Organizers retain the rights to postpone or cancel the program/event without prior notice.
  • Certificate of Participation will only be provided to students who attend both days of conference & submit their video for the Mystery Competition.
  • Participants will be disqualified if they do not adhere to any terms & conditions.
